THE CERTIFICATION

Server hardware certified for SAP Solutions on MS Windows is advantageous for both, hardware vendors and their customers:

  • Hardware vendors are provided with a competent service checking their platforms for SAP Solutions on MS Windows. As experience shows, flaws and weak points are detected quite often during the certification process, which can, therefore, be considered as a kind of additional quality control.
  • Thus, customers are offered reliable hardware verified by the AddOn TCS as an independent assessor as well. Moreover, performance data of the hardware platform is derived from the certification process. On the basis of this information a reliable Sizing can be calculated in order to support a customer's considerations on the purchase of hardware.

CLUSTER AND CERTIFICATION

Connecting two or more already certified SAP Solutions on MS Windows to build a cluster does not require any additional certification from the AddOn TCS. However, in order to get full support from SAP for your SAP Solutions on MS Windows cluster it must fulfill some basic requirements defined by SAP.
